The mind behind the creation of Casino Schedule Ease. Although confined to a wheelchair, Tony was never deterred from being the best that he could be.

A Life of Resilience and Strength

On January 18th, 2010, our family experienced an unimaginable loss with the passing of my brother, Tony Grillo. His absence has left a profound impact on all of us. Tony was more than just a brother; he was a symbol of strength and resilience.

A Spirit Unyielding to Life's Challenges

Tony faced life’s challenges with unwavering determination. He never saw obstacles as burdens but as opportunities for growth. His independence and entrepreneurial spirit were a testament to his character.

A Brother, A Friend, A Genius

Tony was the best brother anyone could ask for, always generous and ready to help. His exceptional skills in computer programming earned him the nickname “Genius” among his friends. When Tony moved back to New Jersey on December 17th, 2009, we celebrated our first Christmas together as a family since 2001—a memory we will always treasure.

Remembering Tony's Legacy

Tony’s passing has left a lasting mark on all who knew him. His memory continues to inspire us, and the Grillo family is stronger because of him. We are deeply grateful for the love and strength he brought into our lives.

I invite you to read the 2001 article from the Press Of Atlantic City, which captures Tony’s journey and his remarkable ability to overcome challenges. Please keep Tony in your thoughts and prayers.

"Challenges aren't obstacles; they're just the steps we take on the path to greatness."

Our Story

The Remarkable Beginnings of Casino Schedule Ease

Casino Schedule Ease was founded by Tony Grillo in 1993. At first glance, this might seem like a typical entrepreneurial story—until you learn that Tony could only move his right hand and facial muscles. Despite this, Tony took the bold step of leaving a well-paid engineering job, where he excelled, to venture out on his own as a computer consultant.
With determination and incredible resilience, Tony went on to create a groundbreaking scheduling software program specifically designed for casinos and their table games. His journey is a testament to his extraordinary spirit and innovative mind.

Tony was taken from us in 2010, living 42 years longer than doctors predicted when he was born in 1962 with a rare form of muscular dystrophy. Yet, during those years, Tony embraced life as an entrepreneur, never allowing anything—or anyone—to hold him back.

Tony’s love for numbers began in early childhood. Despite resistance from the local school board, his parents insisted on a standard education, and Tony excelled, often surpassing his peers. He did so well that he was once accused of cheating—the guy who could only move one hand.

Eventually, Tony earned a full academic scholarship to Stockton State College, where he achieved a perfect 800 on the math portion of his SAT.
